About 3 years ago I started a blog on Wordpress. It originally started out to be just a place for me to keep track of books that I have read. It slowly developed into me reviewing books. Then an author contacted me wanting to know if I would review her books. After that it just kind of took off with authors and publishers contacting me to review books. I started another blog (Edifying and Edgy) with a friend of mine. We used Blogger to set it up. She hired someone to do our graphics and set it all up for us. Once I started using Blogger I liked it so well I wanted to change my Wordpress blog over to it. So about a year ago my friend helped me move everything over to Blogger. My original name was My Only Vice, but several months ago an adult fetish company contacted me explaining that they have had the name My Only Vice for 6 years(longer than I used it) and that they were going to start advertising on the web. They asked if I would be willing to change my blog name so as not to get our two separate interests mixed up. I agreed since I would hate to be the means of directing someone to a porn site. So now I am My Favorite Pastime. I enjoy blogging very much, and I enjoy meeting new people through their blogs or from commenting to my blog. I read all sorts of genre of books, secular and Christian. I strive to give my honest opinion of the books that I read.
