FUN!

This is a t-shirt that my daughter's in-laws gave me for Christmas:

Isn't it the truth? I have so many books that I want to read and there just isn't enough time in the day. I love the t-shirt!

And THIS is what I won in a contest given by author Julie Lessman:

 I tried to get a picture of me holding it with Julie's book showing, but the light and camera weren't cooperating. But anyway, new toy, new fancy cover for new toy and then Julie's book on my new toy! I love the cover of this book. It was designed by Julie's husband and their daughter is the model. Just beautiful! And the series is a MUST READ! Thank-You Julie for the fun contest and the WIN!!!

    First of all, I love your shirt - so true! Your daughters-in-law must know you really well. ;) My parents gave me another pair of book-ish PJs for Christmas this year, and the top has this quote:

    "I cannot sleep unless I am surrounded by books." ~ Borges

    LOL! :)

    And you won Julie Lessman's contest?! Congratulations!! That is super exciting! That Kindle looks so cool, especially with Julie Lessman's pretty cover on it! :)

      I know, right?? I think my mom ordered the top, which is black with the quote and book design in white. Then she found some soft, black/gray and white plaid pants to match it. :)

      Of course I will read your books on it Julie! In fact I have a couple of your books on it already. I'm really bad/good about buying my books. I sometimes will get them both on the Kindle and in paperback or hardback. If I really like the covers I will get the actual book to have in hand. So yes, I am a bit "book poor" gulp! I need to just get books for the Kindle because I don't have room on shelves anymore! Ack!

    Congrats. I love the shirt. I don't actually have any bookish clothing. Perhaps that needs to change.
