Weekend Report

This is hosted by Melanie at Christian Bookshelf Reviews. It is a chance to recap what we have read through the week. Check Melanie's out on her blog!

WHAT I'VE READ THIS WEEK:

Along the lines of The Taming of the Shrew, Courting Cate was a pretty good story.

Bitter Blood is the 13th book in the Morganville Vampires series. I think there are 15 books contracted with an option for more. As much as I enjoy the series I think I'm ready for everyone to have their Happily Ever After and be done.

WHAT I'M CURRENTLY READING:

It's pretty good so far. A bit of mystery going on which I like. I also love the cover! I'm reading this on my Kindle downloaded from NetGalley so I don't get to enjoy the beauty of the cover as I read. It is pretty though isn't it?

WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO READ NEXT:

Vanished, Shattered and Fatherless were all from NetGalley. Chocolate-Covered Baloney was from Booksneeze. I bought You Don't Know Me off of Amazon. I'm looking forward to reading each of these books. I haven't been in the reading mood lately so I'm hoping with deadlines for most of these that I'll get busy!

How about you? Have you read any good books lately? Would love to hear about them.

Have a great Thanksgiving week!

CURRENTLY READING:

Non-fiction, but her story reads like a romance novel! Love it!

WHAT I READ LAST WEEK:

The last of the Daughters of Boston series. I really liked it.

My favorite O'Connor book of the series! Review to come later in October!

Wow, I read 3 Julie Lessman books in a row! They were GREAT!

What I plan to read soon:

How was your week in reading?

Weekend Report

The Weekend Report is hosted by Melanie at Christian Bookshelf Reviews. It is where we get a chance to wrap up our week in reading and set new goals for the next week.

WHAT I'M CURRENTLY READING:

I'm just about 30% into this book. A good murder mystery so far.

WHAT I READ LAST WEEK:

Both entertaining reads.

WHAT I PLAN TO READ SOON:

hmmm, a Julie Lessman read-a-thon it looks like! I might squeeze a YA novel in there somewhere since I am getting behind on those.

What are you reading? What do you have to read in your To Be Read pile?

Weekend Report

The Weekend Report is hosted by Melanie at Christian Bookshelf Reviews. It is where we get a chance to wrap up our week in reading, brag on how much we have read, or make excuses for how much we didn't read! Mine tend mostly to the how much I didn't read lately. Christmas is coming up and I've been sitting in front of the TV crocheting. Here goes this weeks report:

WHAT I'VE READ THIS WEEK:

Technically I finished this the week before this, but on Friday, and since I didn't do a Weekend Report last weekend I'm adding it here. I really am liking this series!

The sequel to Kiss of Night!!! Loved it even more than Kiss of Night, even though the romance between the main characters was pretty much non-existent, I loved the secondary story...

The sequel to Swipe...I think this one was better than the first!

WHAT I'M CURRENTLY READING:

I'm not sure what to think of this one yet. I'm not even 50 pages into it. I'm hoping that it gets better or I might give up on it. Except it was one I chose from the publisher to review. I hate to give up on a review book.

WHAT I WILL CHOOSE FROM NEXT TO READ:

 Chosen from NetGalley to review.

The book that got the most votes to read from September's book discussion. I've been seeing good things about it so I look forward to reading it.

How has your reading week gone? What are you currently reading?

Weekend Report

The Weekend Report is hosted by Melanie at Christian Bookshelf Reviews. It is where we wrap up our week in reading and plan for what we want to read the next week. Head on over to Melanie's blog and check out her report.

WHAT I'M CURRENTLY READING:

I haven't started this one yet but it is definitely next.

WHAT I READ THIS WEEK:

This is the second book I have read by Julie Klassen. The first one I read was The Girl in the Gatehouse. I enjoyed both books very much.

Ted Dekker is pretty twisted as a writer! I really was caught up in this books. My review will be posted in October.

I just finished this book(like literally just closed it!). This is book 3 in the Snipesville Chronicles. I really enjoyed it. A good time travel book along with interesting historical facts.

WHAT I PLAN ON READING NEXT:

A gift from my cousin for my birthday.

Borrowed from my sister so I must get it finished before September 12th when my parents arrive. Save me some postage and send it back to CA with them!

How about you? What did you read this week? What do you plan on reading next?

WHAT I'M CURRENTLY READING:
