When the murdered body of Christopher's headmaster at boarding school is found by Christopher his grandfather, Lord Edgington, is on the case. With so many suspects crawling out of the woodwork will the murderer ever be found? Who knew that so many nefarious things happened behind the scenes at boarding school? Christopher had heard rumors of teachers partying after hours, but he had no clue to what extent that activity had become. Once again Lord Edgington enlists his grandson in helping to solve the murder before the local police.
It cracks me up the way Christopher manages to stumble on a good motive for murder while being totally clueless as to what he just revealed! The rest of the characters in the book have some crazy personalities that make a person crack up or want to reach in and give a good shaking to. Even Lord Edgington cracks me up with his flair for the dramatic when he's wrapping up a case. He does like an audience! The series is an entertaining cozy mystery read that I have enjoyed very much.
