Play It Again by Holly Schindler

Things have changed for Chelsea and Clint. Now four years after their initial romance, Chelsea is graduated from college and Clint is back at Lake of the Woods trying to help an old friend revive it into what it once was. Clint tried to stay in touch with Chelsea those four years, but as most summer romances go, it soon faded into a distant yet sweet memory. The last time Clint talked to Chelsea he left the ball in her court. It was up to her to contact him next. But now Chelsea has received a postcard in the mail reminding her that she has a free week at Lake of the Woods. She and her brother Brandon head there to revive old memories and hopefully rekindle what she had with Clint that summer four years ago. Unfortunately things are not the same at Lake of the Woods. Earl is dead, the camp has fallen into disrepair, and the worst thing of all is that Clint's feelings seem to have changed towards Chelsea. Can two people who were meant to be together find their way back to that first love they shared?

I absolutely LOVED Play It Again! It was even better than Playing Hurt, the first book. I loved the style in which the book was written. I loved how we got glimpses of the past and how both Chelsea and Clint grew from their experiences. I loved their love story and how sometimes that love gets derailed and needs to be re-kindled. I enjoyed how Chelsea and Clint's relationship spurred them to be better people. I also loved how driven both Chelsea and Clint were. I loved their hopes and dreams that they both were striving for and the contentment they found when they were with each other. I definitely recommend these books, Playing Hurt and Play It Again both will linger in your thoughts and cause you to be nostalgic about your own love story.

Here is a quote that resonated with me:

"He knows Clint is the kind of boy who loves with everything he has. Clint's heart is a place you never could escape. Not once he set you up inside it."

I loved that! It describes Clint perfectly!
