And she really wasn't opposed to learning new things. She was sweet, she just hadn't ever been out from under her father's iron thumb to see that their life was not a "normal" one. I enjoyed her "come to Jesus" moment. She was teachable, and that is a good characteristic in all of us right? Thanks for stopping by and commenting. You know I love all of your books! :)Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07190011785450338206noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4389739764142528890.post-73735063532620569872017-10-11T14:29:45.959-05:002017-10-11T14:29:45.959-05:00Thanks for your lovely review of my story, Julie. ...Thanks for your lovely review of my story, Julie. It's the first one! I smiled at your description of Lavinia. Although she's really a loving, caring person, her dogged determination to carry out her father's wishes gets in the way. She does need that "come to Jesus" moment you mentioned. Thankfully, she comes around in the end in a big way and things end up going well for her, Henry and the children, but waiting for her to learn her lessons can be a mite frustrating. Like you, I wanted to pound some sense into her. 🙂Keli Gwynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13236868298400593688noreply@blogger.com
